This necklace is part of a capsule collection inspired by Walter de Maria’s The Broken Kilometer (1979): a room-sized sculpture commissioned and maintained by Dia Art Foundation. “The pieces explore de Maria’s use of line to create an awe-inspiring vision of grand scale,” says Monique Péan. Handcrafted in New York City of 18-karat recycled yellow gold, the rounded, etched rod pendant is capped on both sides with champagne diamonds sourced from environmentally and socially responsible mines. All proceeds from sales benefit Dia Art Foundation.
